A list of studies undertaken in some capacity by Newton Geiszler in the Havens
Monsbaiya monster tower: relationships and evolution/transformations of the monsters - working on their biology, studying hatching and behaviour, nature vs nurture.
Fire lizards: teleportation capabilities and possible barriers. This original had a focus tied to the World-Eater crisis to see if teleportation could be predicted/if signs were left afterwards. Still interesting but much less essential since vanquishing of the World-Eater. Hopefully visit to Fort Hold/Weyr will provide much more information on fire lizard behaviour as very interesting. Charismatic species.
Deadzones: again, with World-Eater gone and Dying Havens gone, this is definitely on the backburner. More historical/theoretical via discussions with residents and old posts on the rune network.
Dragons: interested in their growth/development, really just comparing to known species etc, would like to do X-rays/scans and blood sampling. Some of it may be pointless due to a lack of reference point and level of human/humanoid influence on dragons but still very interesting.
Magic: would like to do thorough blood and DNA sampling in havens to see if 'magic' such as it is is actually more akin to mutations the way some things in history/mythology were written to explain what we could not back in those days. Likely to have very few volunteers, conflict of what I want to see in scientist vs the media I loved growing up.
